The First Module

October 2014 - June 2015

 

Description The theoretical classes and seminars offered in the frames of this module provide a complex knowledge that deals with the issues of contemporary art, history and theory of culture, the collection, exposition and preservation of art objects. By following them the student can get acquainted to key events and figures in the history of contemporary art, to the agents forming its changing aesthetic agenda. To understand how by being theorized the experience of modern and contemporary arts is expanding and redefining art as a specific sphere of creative activity in the context of universal culture. To yield the image and the environment, the texts and the aesthetic, the historical, social and political contexts, analyzing and commenting skills, to access the history of the collection, exposition and preservation of art objects and current practices.

The Second Module

October 2015 - December 2015

 

Description In the frames of this module the students will be offered a program compromised of field works and study visits. By choosing one of the topics available on the list the student will be able to implement research that will be connected to a specific material. During the module thematic workshops will be organized that will help the student to apply the gained skills in the frames of the final work.

In the frames of this short-term module (3 weeks) the students must develop and present the brief concept of their final work also by choosing their mentor.

The Fourth Module

March 2016 - September 2016

 

During this final module the student must develop (write) and complete her project (research). Only consultations between the student and her mentor are anticipated.
