Anne Glassner Into Silence
ASPAREZ (Arena) is an experimental platform for young curators. It is connected with the other parts of the ICA - the ‘Critical and Curatorial Studies School’ and ‘Nest Artist Residency’. The students and the alumni of the school have the opportunity to conduct practical work related to exhibition case research, and the resident artists can present their work and realize projects.

The starting point of the workshop will be the own body and the confrontation with time and space. The workshop includes exercises concerned with perception, consciousness, awareness and silence, and will show how different the approach of performative action can be.
For the artist, the most fulfilling collaborations have come not from a self-interested desire to further the repertoire, but from a real desire to share ideas and create a working atmosphere together.
