"The History of the Armenian Avant-Garde through 47 Artists" book presentation at ICA
Dear friends, on October 27, at 19:00, the presentation of the book "The History of the Armenian Avant-Garde through 47 Artists" authored by Harutyun Zulumyan and Zinaida Barandri, which is a collection of interviews, will take place at ICA.
Multidisciplinary artist and curator Harutyun Zulumyan, who has been active in the Armenian and international art scene since the 1980s and currently resides in St. Petersburg, has gathered interviews, thoughts, viewpoints, and experiences from Armenian artists living both in Armenia and abroad, making them accessible to a wide audience as well as professional circles.
The book was originally intended to showcase Armenian modern art in Russia, which is why the book is in Russian. The book was printed with the financial support of the participating artists.
Ara Haytayan prepared the book for printing, and the book's design was created by Aram Urutyan.
