Isabelle Vicherat

This evening we will have a chance to talk to Isabelle Vicherat who practices art both in Armenia and France already for the third year. Being preoccupied with the issues of human desires, the etymology and the circulation of hopes, she often looks up for the answers in the lanes of the encounter and concentration of the daily routine and the tradition. The aesthetic dimension of this concentration conditions the artist’s approaches to the object and the material. In the spotlight of Isabelle Vicherat’s attention are also the current issues of the relationship between maternity and the Institute of the family where the modes of manifestation in one or another society are conditioned by the specifics of the socio-economic context of a given country.
